Placing "Gangs of New York" at 138..makes me fear that "The muppets" are top 3 :ughnoes:

knowing Fu Man Chu its not ment to be totally serious like yours is. i bet he's probably having a joke around. he probably has stacks of dvd's in his room 8 feet high :hmmm:
If just joking around why make such an ambitious thread. Also, just because you've seen or own a lot of films doesn't mean you have a sound cinematic mindset. Take Rocky for example. :hsughr:

Why? GoNY is one of Scorsese's worst.

I don't even consider it a particularly good film. As a whole, all of his work this decade is far below his capabilities as a filmmaker.

I can agree that he probably can do better, but still I wouldn't consider Gangs of New York to be a bad movie, not even close.

Well so far I like all the movies you are posting, whether Line or anyone else agrees they are good. I may not agree with the placings but keep it going, I am interested to see how this turns out.

P.S. I have that same pic from the movie Blow as a big poster in my apartment :coolguy:

Also, Line no one is taking this list too seriously. It is fun, we do however take your list seriously so get to updating! :angrydude:

Man, everyone can have different likings, and a different sense of art. But having KKBB and Hellboy ahead of Taxi Driver is a joke.

Anyway, keep going.

Knowing that a far inferior film is going to come after Gone with the Wind is bothering me equally. I would've liked to see have seen Pulp Fiction higher as well, considering some of the other films that are being favored above it.
