European Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Executive Council members met last weekend, January 24[SUP]th[/SUP] – 27[SUP]th[/SUP], 2014, in Seville, Spain, to discuss the current matters and plans for a year 2014. IFBB and EBFF President Dr. Rafael Santonja prepared the meeting in a very attractive way: there was a time for plenary sessions as well as for visiting the most interesting historical places in Seville, the city with over 2000 years history and many UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The main purposes of the meeting were to recapitulate the EBFF activity in 2013, to outline the plans for 2014 and to discuss some general problems and elaborate proposals to the 2014 IFBB International Congress in Brazil. Europe will host many of the top IFBB/EBFF 2014 international events, including European Championships in Santa Susanna, World Classic Bodybuilding Championships in Madrid, World Children Fitness Championships in Novi Sad, World Ladies Cup in Kiev, Arnold Classic Europe in Madrid, European Amateur Olympia in Prague, World Amateur Olympia in Moscow and Ben Weider Diamond Cup.
EBFF will also have to start preparations to its milestone breakthrough – 2015 European Games of the Olympic program in Baku, in which bodybuilding and fitness will be included. More detailed information soon. EBFF officials from different countries expressed their cordial thanks to Dr. Santonja and his team for preparing and running of this meeting in so efficient and attractive manner.
