Just a quick introduction.
I am 53 y/o at 5’6” and weigh in at 185 lbs. currently.
I have been lifting for the better part of 9 years...
At the age of 48, I entered my first amateur bodybuildingcompetition and have competed in two others since then. This was a bucket list item and I have notdecided if I will compete again, however, I still run a cycle or two a year andmaintain a healthy life style so that if I decide to I am ready.
My diet typically consists of Chicken, Turkey, pork, Fish,Shrimp and Steak (lean), broccoli, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, green beans and carbsare generally in my post workout meal.
I seem to function very well on a low carb diet.
Current Macros:
Protein 50%
Carbs 20%
Fats 30%
Current RDI:2962 calories- with a BMR of 1662 calories. I will start out running at my BMR + (300-400) calories. Mymeal plan has me hitting a caloric deficit of appx 1000 calories a day.
