What they should do (which will also act as an incentive to the rest of general population) is to offer the best behaved inmates 30 mins in a room with no windows with the child abusers and any "toys" of their choosing.

Keep the prison population down (no more kiddie fiddlers) and keep those that are in there happy as they can continue their violent behaviour for the benefit of others!

the problem is the legal system.

Overpopulated prisons means criminals will never serve a full sentence or maybe no prison time at all.

When we fill the prisons with non-violent "criminals" (ie drug users and dealers), there is no room left for the real criminals like child molesters and rapists.

So kiddie fiddlers get a slap on the wrist, meanwhile someone selling crack will be locked up for 5 years.
