The 2022 Boston Pro was the first show since the 2022 Arnold Classic, kicking off the bodybuilding season. Champions from seven divisions punched their tickets to the 2022 Olympia, held in Las Vegas from December 15 to 18, at the Sheraton Boston Hotel on Saturday. In the end, William Bonac took first place at the Boston Pro in 2022.
Six competitors returned to the stage following the Arnold Classic, making this a stacked field in Men's Bodybuilding.
Aside from the Men's Open Bodybuilding competition, competitors competed in Classic Physique, Men's Physique, Fitness, Figure, Bikini, and Wellness this weekend.
William Bonac was a strong favorite heading into the Men's Open. He had a strong showing at the 2022 Arnold Classic, pushing Curry to the brink during the second day's finals. Many believed Bonac had won in Ohio because of his strong showing.
Bonac, the 2020 Arnold Classic champion, returned with a vengeance in Columbus last week after missing the Arnold in 2021. There's no doubt a chip on his shoulder after narrowly losing to Curry in Columbus, Ohio. Steve Kuclo, the third-place finisher at the 2022 Arnold, also attended the Boston show, hoping to improve on his third-place finish.
Erin Banks decided to compete again after winning the Arnold Classic Men's Physique title. Missy Truscott came in second in Fitness and hoped to reclaim her spot near the top of the division. This was an exciting show with a lot of talent from all divisions.
The Boston Pro featured seven divisions, with the winners competing for a spot in the Olympia. The complete results have been released.

The appearance of Bonac at the Boston Pro Show came as a complete surprise. He finished second to Brandon Curry at the 2022 Arnold Classic a week before. Bonac decided to enter the Boston Pro at the last minute to take advantage of his impressive physique. Bonac appeared to be a little thinner than Ohio. He's always been a big guy with a lot of muscle and knows how to flaunt it with thoughtful and artistic posing. He was ranked first by all of the judges. This was Bonac's first win since winning the Arnold Classic in 2020, and it was his sixth pro victory overall. He will now compete in the 2022 Olympia in Las Vegas, Nevada, from December 16 to 18. He hopes to improve on his sixth-place finish in the 2021 competition.

Runner up - Justin Rodriguez
Rodriguez finished fourth in the Arnold Classic a week ago, one place behind third-place finisher Steve Kuclo. It's unclear what changes Rodriguez made in preparation for this show, but whatever he did pay off because he beat Kuclo to second place in Boston. In addition, he held each pose for several seconds during his individual routine, giving the judges ample opportunity to assess him. His posing, combined with his self-assurance, may have landed him in second place.Steve Kuclo - 3rd
Kuclo remained one of the stage's most potent competitors. He is almost always. Kuclo was clearly hoping for first place and an automatic Olympia qualification after finishing third at the Arnold a week prior, his best Arnold till this date. However, Bonac's dominance, combined with Rodriguez's tweaks, was enough to keep "The King Snake" at bay.Scorecards
