^^ can u do it? and legs more apart ( sumo deads) arent easier, just different, if it was easier the world record would be done in a sumo dead, but it isn't, so u fail

great vid, she made it look easy. but i dunno the bar barely bends at 485lbs.. regular gym bars bend more on 405 than her's with almost 500lbs

I don't think it makes it easier at all, i've tried sumo deads just once, i can tell you this, it got my back hurting good, and i did light weight too, its just lifting up with legs out wide, not very pleasing for me.
ROM less or more, i don't think matters in deadlifting, but for someone like me it does since i have a problem with my joints, and cartilage

You're an idiot.
:deadhorse:

Its all a matter of strengths and weaknesses, there are lots of people who can pull more conventional than they can sumo. Its all a matter of individual body mechanics.

In addition to my previous comment, look at Andy Bolton, a world record deadlift using conventional stance. If sumo-stance would have allowed him to pull any more weight he would have used it.

Whereas Chuck Vogelpohl, another world class powerlifter pulls sumo stance.

Although I can't remember the source, I'm sure I have read that as a rule women generally pull better with a sumo stance due to their pelvic structure.
