He has run at least 27 miles a day, six days a week, over the past seven weeks, covering more than 1,110 miles of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

Amazing.

Run or walk?

Because at a medium walking pace that is only 10-11hrs of walking a day to cover the distance. Most people should be capable of doing that, as long as overuse stuff doesn't set in from repeated days of it.

Running it definitely is impressive.

Dean Karnazes is an experienced marathon runner. Eddie only had a few weeks training prior to doing the daily marathons.

Or Richard Bottram. He lost his wife after she got sick with cancer. He promised her to raise money and descided to run a marathon everyday for the upcoming year. So from 2006 to 2007 he ran 365 marathons. Almost died because of a car who ran over him, bitten by dogs but never gave up. Pretty impressive if you ask me. His weblog is still online: http://www.marathon365.org/

In 2003 Ranulph Fiennes completed 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days. He was 59 and had just had a double heart bypass operation four months before.
