After a long walk with a back pack , and then after leaning over something for a while, my back just collapses folds over, is that normal?

It never used to happen to me

My lower back is obviously used to support the back pack along with my abs (not that heavy pack)

Then if I also lean over something for a while its again my back supporting me

I presume its nothing other than ordinary muscular failure? Like holding weight out with your arm for time like a paint can?

Its just odd that it never happened younger or about 3 years ago

I havnt been able to get to a gym to use real weights but ive strengthened it with boxes etc

Yeah that can happen. Sounds like your lower back muscles just getting fatigued. Walking with a backpack and then leaning forward keeps the same muscles working the whole time, so they kinda give out after a while.

Prob just lower back/core endurance not being as strong as before. Some planks or back extensions could help. If there’s pain or numbness tho, better get it checked.
