As the co-main event in the UFC 237 – Namajunas vs Andrade, the Brazilian crowd was expecting a win for their former champion Anderson Silva. But Jared Cannonier was attacking relentlessly that stymied Silva. Before the end of the 1st round, Cannonier released a kick on the knee of Silva that caused too much pain for Silva to fall on the mat. The referee stopped the fight and Silva couldn’t stand. It can be remembered that Silva had a broken leg in his rematch with Chris Weidman, the middleweight at that time. I hope that leg was not broken again.
