Bellator welterweight grand prix – Page vs Daley

February 16 is the start of the Bellator welterweight grand prix pitting Michael Page against Paul Daley. The quarterfinal bout of the grand prix pits 2 fighters from England with Page standing at 6’3” towering over the 5’9” frame of Daley. With his formidable fight record of 13 wins and no losses, Page is favored to beat Page with his striking prowess not to mention the advantage of his long reach. .

The giant beat the dwarf to advance to the grand prix semifinals. Page earned a unanimous decision over Daley who was attempting for takedowns instead of using his striking power as a knockout artist. Daley is contesting the decision of the judges in saying that he had won the fight 2 rounds to 1 and that Bellator was only protecting its interest in making Page win the fight. Well, losing is part of the game.
