Im looking for the best way to build huge traps. Ive been dong shoulder shrugs alot and havnt seen amazing results. Do i need to be patience or is there anyother great exercises to build traps.

I found that for me deadlifts worked traps a lot, also I do bb shrugs heavy but insist on full rom and I finish with db shrugs

Shrugs with a nice long squeeze at the end.

BB shrugs are my staple. I have also found that upright rows work my traps very well too. As for your biceps thread, i'd reccomend barbell curls.

Welcome aboard fella!

Dumbell Shrugs, Barbell shrugs, Haney Shrugs, and Beefcake shrugs. Also, if you're doing delts/traps upright posture rows work great for hitting the traps AND shoulders :xyxthumbs:

Power shrugs FTW. But you have to realize that more isnt always better. Once or twice with one exercise should be more than enough.

I never had to do much for traps, but I built mine with barbell shrugs (heavy), Dumbbell shrugs (with a good squeeze), or reverse shrugs with moderate weight (bar behind you)

melvin shrugs..BUT MAINLY 3 SUPERSETS FRONT AND BACK 20 REP BB SHRUGS EXPLODE YOUR TRAPS .

Static Holds

Hang Pulls and High Pulls are both great as well but are hard on the shoulders (from personal experience :tear:)

rack deads, plus anyother heavy row movement will have an indirect affect

barbell shrugs with heavy weight but good form. no using ur legs, i c that all the time, just using the traps and consentrate on squeezing em, also when u lower the bar, hold it for a few seconds, it really crushes the traps, u cant go as heavy on em but ull feel em alot better and ur traps will do all the work...

Behind the back BB shrugs. Lunge machine shrugs :xyxthumbs: all heavy but with full contraction

Cable upright rows reallt hit the middle part of the trap!

another shaper..to make it higher at the top..i did this and it's pretty good. Burn like crazy. Go to the cable crossover thing. Put a handle on either side at the bottom, and do shrugs like that at an angle. This is maybe something to do if your traps have uneven shape, and after bb stuff.

upright rows

hit up some upright rows with a narrow grip and really squeeze at the top, doing that along with shrugs helped me.
