1985 Performance Timeline
That year, Georgy Zobach began competing in the Leningrad Kettlebell Lifting and Athletic Gymnastics Championships (squat and bench press). On October 16, he competed in both the weightlifting and kettlebell lifting competitions at the Leningrad Cups on the same day. After the snatch, he weighed in for the kettlebell competition and then went on to compete in the clean and jerk. The competition was held at the Winter Stadium Manege. He took home four silver medals!
