I finally have an off day to make this post, but after today there will be no more of this BS nonsensical idea perpetuated.

Bodybuilding is NOT subjective, it merely has LOOSE/AMBIGUOUS standards and that IS the bottom line.

Over the years we have seen many controversial decisions go MANY different ways and with each passing show we see the standard teeter totter back and forth.

One week, a smaller/more conditioned bodybuilder beats a bigger one and the next week it is the EXACT OPPOSITE. Why is this?

Well unlike ANY OTHER sport, bodybuilding has NO balls to set standards that are outlined CLEARLY. In EVERY other sport, the bottom line is the SCORE. Thus you will see many many....SO ****ING MANY games where a team gets dominated in EVERY category....in EVERY category BUT the score and you know who "wins?" The team that put more pucks in the net, the team that put the ball in the hoop more or had a better shooting efficiency from the 3 point line, the team that put the ball in the endzone more or had better kicking efficiency, the team that touched the home plate more.

ALL OTHER SPORTS HAVE A UNDERLYING SILVER LINING AND BODYBUILDING REFUSES TO DO THIS

By not clearly outlining how much having more mass is worth, by not having the judges have strict marking schemes that are then released to the public, by not clearly outlining how much conditioning is worth, bodybuilding is allowed to get away with the solipsist nonsense that it is somehow "subjective," again it is NOT. It simply REFUSES to take a stance on the true value of what it judges because doing so would make their political nonsense a lot harder to pull off. Remember when guts were supposed to be marked down? Lol whatever happened to that...

So that is what people need to understand, unlike other sports where fans can say "Yeah well you may have won, but we dominated everything else" and the winning fans retort is "Good for you, but at the end of the day we completed standard XYZ and that is ALL that matters," bodybuilding has NO such equivalent and will continue to perpetuate the FALSE NOTION of subjectivity to perpetuate it's own solipsist political sponsor/hometown/ol boys club driven agenda.
