In this Brandon Curry All Access training clip, Brandon Curry breaks down a quad-focused superset built for depth, comfort, and activation rather than heavy load. The pairing combines somersault squats on a belt squat with a deep inverted leg press, turning two unconventional movements into a serious quad finisher.

The first movement is the somersault squat on a belt squat. Curry sets the belt angle so it pulls him forward and into the bottom position instead of straight down. This setup reduces hip discomfort and allows a deep squat without spinal loading. He pauses at the bottom to create a strong stretch through the outer quad sweep, then drives up with controlled extension. The emphasis is knee, ankle, and hip extension working together. Heavy weight is not needed because the position itself creates high tension.

For the second half of the superset, Curry uses an inverted leg press, an exercise often dismissed but highly effective when performed deep. A low foot position allows calves-to-hamstrings depth, creating a strong stretch and quad burn. He keeps the load light since the belt squat already pre-fatigued the quads. The inverted leg press acts as a finishing move, squeezing out what is left while staying joint-friendly.

This superset is ideal for lifters chasing quad sweep, depth, and control without excessive weight. It fits well into leg days focused on longevity, comfort, and muscle activation rather than max loading.
