London - A woman who helped her husband secretly film young girls as they took baths at their home was jailed for two-and-a-half years on Friday.

Teaching assistant Rosemary Foxall prepared the baths for the girls while her husband Martin, who has since killed himself, secretly filmed them at their home in Brownhills, West Midlands, over an eight-year period.

Foxall, 49, was found guilty earlier this month of 10 charges of making child pornography, and another charge of possessing 147 indecent photographs of children, the Press Association reported.

The children were offered toys, discos and swimming pools with water slides to entice the girls to come to their home. The judge Nicholas Webb said the girls had found the incentives "almost impossible to resist".

They were then filmed through a spy hole above a bath and by a camera hidden under a pile of clothes in a bedroom.

Pornography and sex aids were also left "lying about" for the children to see. Although the secret films had probably not been distributed, the victims could never be sure the footage would not be circulated on the internet in future, Wolverhampton Crown Court heard.

Foxall, who denied knowing her husband made the films, was arrested after videos filmed by her husband were found by police following a fire at their home in July 2008.

The judge acknowledged Foxall's husband had been the driving force but said she "fully assisted".

He said she had committed a "monstrous breach of trust".

Foxall was jailed for 30 months, banned from ever working with children and ordered to sign the sex offenders' register.

First of all, who were the young girls and why were they taking baths in a strangers home?

30 months for making child porn? lol. It's still funny to me that both the UK and US are more lenient on pedophiles than drug users.
