What is considered low or high HDL/LDL cholesterol on a blast with test and orals?

How do you know objectively when to stop a blast based on cholesterol? Is there a number?

For how long can you handle out of range numbers?

Thanks guys!

There’s really no “safe blast number” for HDL/LDL since those ranges are based on long-term health, not enhanced use. Most people look more at trends. HDL crashing hard and LDL spiking well above range is usually a red flag, especially if it keeps worsening between labs.

There’s no universal cutoff for stopping either, but when lipids are clearly deteriorating alongside BP/hematocrit, that’s generally where people reassess. The longer everything stays out of range, the more the risk compounds.

Thanks for sharing brother, was just curious if there is a "scientific" approach. Sounds like its more about prolonged exposure.

From what I've seen, HDL usually takes the biggest hit with orals.

If your HDL is extremely low & LDL is way above range, i'd seriously consider dropping the oral or ending the blast.

It's better to cut it short than deal with long-term cardiovascular issues.
