A LONG time ago when I was a freshman in college. I was studying for my western civ final. I stayed up all night and popped no doz whenever I felt a little sleepy, washing it down with a cup of coffee. Before the night was through, I had taken 2.5 boxes of no doz with a pot of coffee. I later calculated I had the equivalent amount of caffeine to 140 cups of brewed coffee. The effects were not pleasant at all. I was shaking so badly at breakfast that I couldn't get the spoon to my mouth without everything flying off it. A good female friend tapped me on the back and I screamed and swung around with a backfist. If she had been taller than her little 4'10" self, I would have cleaned her head off. She had her feelings hurt at me for a long time over that, LOL. I was sweating like a pig and virtually vibrating as I moved around. Later that night, I tried to sleep but was still too amped up and I was starting to have severe stomach pain and nausea so I went to the medical center there on campus. I had been up for 36 hours and lying down for the past 4 hours but my heart rate was still 180 bpm and my blood pressure was off the charts. They called poison control and were told there was nothing to do but let it wear off. If I had not been 18 and healthy, I very well may have stroked out. It probably also helped that I was already a fairly heavy coffee drinker for years before this so my system was already used to higher levels of caffeine than most 18 year olds. I think I am lucky to have survived the experience.

Ironically, the asshole of a professor had taken the entire final out of a text that he said was an OPTIONAL text. I read and memorized large portions of the REQUIRED text so it did me little good and I still made a D on the final, LOL.
