Just wondering if any of you are going to any concerts this year. And if you have any band or artists you would recommend seeing live.

So far i have tickets to Mark Knopfler in april, and Metallica in july.

Going to Corey Smith concerts this year. So far I've got two that I'm going to. April 17th and April 24th. Planning on hitting up some Taylor Swift concerts as well.

Carolina
Artist: Corey Smith

Me and you in a midnight blue, ’82 Camaro
Crossin’ over the Hartwell bridge movin’ fast as she would go
Windows down, radio up, we were singin’ “Freebird”
Flyin’ up to your daddy’s cabin just outside of Spartanburg

Do you remember the way you looked at me back then
Two hungry eyes wrapped up in a smile so innocent
It all makes one hell of a reminder
Keeps me cryin’ Carolina

We had a hotel room with a harbor view and a bottle of Chianti
That spring break in Charleston, it keeps comin’ back to haunt me
Took a carriage ride to the battery, toasted shots above the water
Then stumbled ‘cross the cobblestone, hands holdin’ us together

Do you remember the way we carried on
Blew all our money and we had to starve the whole way home
It all makes one hell of a reminder
Keeps me cryin’ Carolina

I can’t let it go, no I can’t let it go
I don’t wanna’ let go, oh no it feels too far away
Do you remember the single bed that we slept in
When I’d ride up to Clemson and hide in your room the whole weekend
It all makes one hell of a reminder
Keeps me cryin’ Carolina

He must be some boring country singer or something.

Haha I don't only listen to country. He is a mix of country, old school rock and he raps a little too. Writes all his own songs as well. Great talent.

Ive seen both man, Mark knopfler was great!

Any death metal/thrash metal/power metal band that decides to show their ugly face in my city (they rarely every do :crymeariver:)

A band id recommend seeing is Dragonforce, they are FANTASTIC live. Ill be seeing them for a 3rd time this year if they decide to come to Australia again.

I missed out on Dream theatre about 2 weeks ago which i was really bummed about, i would have loved to see them, and i heard the concert was brilliant!! nearly 3 hrs on stage :hyperguy:
