The Minneapolis jury convicted former policeman Derek Chauvin of murdering George Floyd who was arrested for paying fake $20 bill in a grocery. The jury pronounced Chauvin as guilty for manslaughter, 3rd degree murder and 2nd degree murder. Chauvin may be in prison for 12 and ½ years although the prosecution is appealing for 40 years.
