Hearththrob of 1970s David Cassidy died of organ failure in a hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Cassidy was the lead singer most popularly known in The Partridge Family. It’s a coincidence that David’s stepmother Shirley Jones played the role of his mother in The Partridge Family. Younger Shaun Cassidy tweeted about his memories of David and that he will surely be missed.
