Both are great actors and this could be a tie, but i'll vote for De Niro, tough, very tough choice.

Pacino for me, I think he's delivered more memorable performances.

-Michael Corleone- Godfather
- Col. Slade- Scent of a Woman
- Tony Montana- Scarface

I think those 3 in particular are among the best movie characters of all time.

Last worthwhile film done:

Pacino - Insomnia (2002)
De Niro - Jackie Brown (1997)

Hmm...

LOL... me too, I was just hoping to get a rise out of Line. :icon_ninja:
As strange as it sounds, I actually figured out the killer immediately.

Reason why...

Her character was pointless and stupid...it was fucking obvious

Whole lot of "meh" here. Not necessarily bad movies but if we're ranking them as actors from the scope of careers, these hardly account for anything.

Pacino without a doubt. Although De Niro has played some amazing rolls (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull) you just can't match Pacino for sheer intensity when he's at the top of his game.

I voted for De Niro.

I went on a different marker of greatness. Pacino and DeNiro have done some woefully bad films in the past decade or so (Analyze This and Gigli come to mind) while never turning in terrible performances. So I picked the one who has made crappy films better just by their presence on screen. For this De Niro wins (Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, Analyze This & That, Showtime, The Score).

Also I find Pacino annoying at times with the indignant brash over acted delivery. He seems to do it all the time, rather than when it suits the character.
