The same way Wolf can win contests with no middle or lower back or the same way Branch can win contests with no forearms. Ronnie has the same type of calves as Dex but he managed to grow them proportionate to the rest of his body's growth.

as for dexter he looks bigger,flawless victory as stated above,

His arms grow a lot.Little more size in his leg and back.

His back looks wider from every pose. and his hamstring looks like it is hanging lower from the side. His arms even look bigger.

His calves might have gotten a little bigger but I don't see why everyone gets worked up over calves. I don't think a bodybuilder have ever lost a competition over just having smaller calves. Everyone has at least one weak spot. Unless your Ronnie Coleman

his legs look more toned in the 08, but in 09 he's gained some size.. can't wait to see what he brings to the O this year
