Does Saturated Fat cause heart disease and clogged arteries? Not everyone thinks so!
There is a widespread belief that saturated fat can cause heart disease and clogged arteries. However, the evidence for this is not clear-cut and there is ongoing debate among scientists and health experts about the role of saturated fat in heart disease. Some studies have suggested that saturated fat can raise levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol in the blood, which is often called "bad" cholesterol because high levels of LDL can increase the risk of heart disease. However, other studies have found no clear link between saturated fat and LDL cholesterol. Some experts argue that other factors, such as the overall quality of a person's diet and lifestyle, may be more important for heart health than the amount of saturated fat in the diet.
