Does anyone know this? Has anyone out there done their proper research on syntax and origins? Did anyone that: the word 'supplement' has that origin for a reason and a purpose? These pills SUPPLEMENT.

As far as my knowledge goes I thought the word supplement was supossed to refer to "supply", "provide", "add on" or "cover for" kind of meaning.

Or am I missing something?
