Mike is deep in prep, entering one of the hardest phases yet: two full workouts per day plus multiple cardio sessions. Coming off Push Phase I where he started with around 100g carbs and two working sets, Phase II takes it to another level—double training, posing, cardio after every session, and brutal volume.
- Training Split:
- Morning: Chest – 16 working sets just for chest, plus cardio.
- Later: Shoulders & triceps, followed again by cardio.
- Total: 30+ sets per muscle group per week, taken to failure.
- Daily Routine:
- Pre-workout mixes loaded with stims, pump agents, and aminos.
- Staying at the gym all day, napping between sessions to save energy.
- Cardio, posing, lifting, repeat.
- Food around 2,000–2,200 calories—couscous, chicken, beef fillet, egg whites, guacamole, and staples like 7Up Zero and almond milk.
- 7 Weeks Out Check-In:
- Glutes are coming in, condition is sharpening.
- Mike admits every step feels like lifting 1,000 kilos, but he thrives on the suffering: “I don’t want to just look great on stage—I want to deserve it.”
- Coaches and peers warn him the workload is “nonsense,” but Mike believes pushing past limits is the only way to feel it’s earned.
- Recovery & Tools:
- Mike is open about relying on peptides (TB500, BPC-157) to handle insane training volume and speed up recovery.
- Emphasizes this isn’t something he’d recommend for casual lifters or anyone without the ability to rest full-time.
- Mindset:
- Step by step, set by set. He frames the struggle as the part of prep that builds character: “These are the days that define your passion and dedication.”
- Even when dizzy post-sets, he pushes through by breaking it down—just one more rep, one more set, one more minute of cardio.
- Extras:
- Plans to check out a local bodybuilding show in Spain between sessions.
- Struggles with frozen chicken and grocery hauls, but finds joy in small things like warm food and good steak.
- Ends the day exhausted but happy: cardio, posing, two hardcore sessions complete, progress noted by coach Neil—who called his condition “exceptional” for 7.5 weeks out.
