Hypo, FF, CJU- Thank you for the encouragement:xyxthumbs: Helps me along to know there are others still way stronger than me out there though...

Chesti- I love con curls; putting them at the end of my workout lets me keep the pace steady while drumming a killer pump in my cursed-by-tall-man's-syndrome-arms. Gotta take all the angles I can.

BB- I don't groove overly much with the metric system, but 135 sounds about right:e5dunno: As to your question: I'm 25, and I've been training seriously for around six years. Still a long way to go and a heck of a lot to learn:hsughr:

Tim- Oh, sweet crap no:ughnoes: :49: They're seated; I think my body would fold in half if I were to attempt them standing. I've never liked presses from the totally vertical position, as my height puts way too much stress on my lower back when they're done in such a way.

I've given my body a rest for the past couple of days; no specific reason for such, just want everything to be 110% for chest, tri's, bi's, and quads tomorrow.
:hsughr: Two a day, baby!!:hsughr:

Oh my God! How can you do that much volume with weights that are so high? It's mind-blowing :eek4:

You're pushing up more weight on incline than most people can squat. While generally I would warn that you're doing too much volume, your strength and progress obviously speak for themselves.

FF- Thank you for the nod:D

Banshee- :ughnoes: Well I get scared looking at your workouts, so it's a symbiotic relationship, ya? Thank you as always for the welcome encouragement:D

CJU- Thank you:D I'm really nothing special though, as guys like Rob Roy blow me out of the water. I'm tall and broad with some good mass, but you have me smoked on cuts, CJU:xyxthumbs: Viva cardio:hsughr:

Hypo and Nature- Thank you both:D

Chesti- Sorry Chesti:hide: I actually slightly tweaked my right elbow(felt it for about a day afterward) on said inclines, so I need to drop da weight. No good if I feel it in my joints; maybe I need to warm up a little more.

Line- Thank you Line:xyxthumbs: I've just found that my body responds best to volume, so the weight is just by assesment and feel. Ronnie once said he targeted his smaller bodyparts(tri's, bi's, shoulders) with 12-14 sets max; larger areas would get as many as 24. I've found through trial and error that Coleman's way works best for me.

Sorry for the slacking in my log everyone:disgust: Thank you for your patience and continuing encouragement/excellent comments. I'll toss Friday's and Saturday's workouts up in a little bit.

My two-a-day plans were shot on account of me working on my day off:disgust: ; quads and hams will happen later today, and back will be tomorrow.

Here's Friday

Biceps

Standing Cambered Bar Curls

75X15(warmup)
95X15
105X13
115X9

Standing Olympic Bar Wide Grip Curls

95X14
115X10
135X8

Standing One Arm Low Cable Curls

50X20(warmup)
60X15
70X15
80X11

Concentration Curls

45X15
50X11
55X8
60X9

Forearms

Preacher Reverse Cambered Bar Curls(my biceps were pumped to the point that my range of motion and strength on these were sunk:tear:I'll do 'em again tonight)

75X10
75X8

Standing Flexor Curls

150X25
150X27

Calves

Seated Calf Raises

110X20(warmup)
160X18
185X11
205X7

Standing Calf Raises(done on a hack/power squat station; just a couple of lighter sets to keep the motion framiliar so my calves don't die/cramp for a couple of days when I put my regular weight back into this lift. Definitely a full range of motion for me here as well; no half raises or bouncing, as that crap's dangerous and embarassing)

540X15
630X15

That was it for Friday. Overall, a very satisfying workout. Having my reverse curls die as a result of my previous work was a little frustrating, but not really a surprise. Easy to correct, and the failing is a good sign from a certain point of view.

Saturday

Shoulders

Standing Dumbell Side Laterals(no body swing)

35X15(warmup)
40X15
50X12
50X11

Cybex Plate Loaded Shoulder Press

140X25(warmup)
270X15
320X10
330X8

Seated Dumbell Presses(just a couple sets to hammer it in)

90X13
90X9

Standing Bent Rear Delt Flyes(arch in lower back very important here)

65X15
80X14
85X12

Traps

Standing Dumbell Shrugs(strict and full, no hop whatsoever; again, an embarassing lift to have bad form on. End up looking like a kid playing with something you shouldn't when you're virtually jumping up and down on every rep)

125X15(warmup)
140X14
150X11
160X9

I had some slight time contraints for this workout, and considering such the quality of this session was excellent. I really dig the Cybex press; it's pretty much the only shoulder pressing machine I use. Form and pump were excellent as well; I've found in the past that bad shoulder form tweaks my lower back, which is horrible for a lug like me. I had also developed some bad tension in my right shoulder(dislocated once in the past) from improper and sloppy technique; that's all gone now though:hsughr:

Seriously, correct form and stretching between sets works wonders. I'm sure Ironslave and Tim could offer a much more educated opinion on the matter; I'm just glad said principles have made it through my thick skull.

Thank you FF:) It was hindsight that sunk them, but I need to work my forearms more often anyway. Stinking tall-man's-syndrome:no:
