The 25-year old American Lacey DeLuca
The 25-year old American Lacey DeLuca is one of the athletes, who will be competing at EVLS Prague Pro 2014 in Bikini Pro category. It will be second show on the European soil for this 50th annual of Mr. Olympia participant.*”I competed for the first time out of the USA, in the year 2013 at IFBB Nordic Pro in Finland.*I have never been in the Czech republic before, this will be my first time.*I am so excited to be competing at this show this year, and cannot wait to visit Prague as I have heard it is so beautiful,” says Lacey.
She was doing gymnastics for 13 years: “I was competitive gymnast for about13 years up until I was 17 years old. I trained probably around 20 to 25 hours a week and competed all over the region. That helped keep my body in shape pretty much my whole life, just that regular training and discipline.”
Lacey joined world of bodybuilding and fitness after inspirative meeting with India Paulino.*”When I did that photo shoot with Rob Rozetti, he brought India Paulino in too. When I saw her I as like ‘Oh ok – I want to look like her!’ I wanted to see what she was doing and how she looked the way she did. She has been my inspiration in this sport. I started training in December and did my first contest in March.”
This two competitors will meet again in September on Mr. Olympia stage in Las Vegas. This season she finished on 5th place at New York Pro and on 6th place*at Tampa Pro, Pittsburgh Pro and Dallas Pro.
