Only if you add ice so that you have something to chew. :49:

Seriously though the origins of beer were as a malted protein and nutrients brew that was alcoholic enough to keep the slaves and labourers fed and docile.

Some great holiday foods that are kinda over the top are Peppermint Twist Smirnoff - vodka to get you through the holidays, Ben & Jerry's Bourban Pecan Pie Ice Cream is a good dessert, and of course turkey and yams are a few of my favorite holiday foods.

We have a special dish called menudo which is pork cutlets cooked in tomato sauce with fresh chestnuts. But the most special is the pork leg ham which we have only during the holiday season. Although it is available in the store all year round but we never buy when it is not holiday season just to follow tradition. It is actually the sweet Chinese ham that is our favorite since we were kids.

Haha! This actually the reason why most people add lots of calories during Christmas holidays because there is so much food to eat during this period of the year.

My favorite holiday foods are lechon, salad, spaghetti, and fried chicken. I also like grilled milk fish. For dessert I like to eat cakes and ice cream. I can't wait for Christmas holiday season to come. There is really abundance of delicious and mouth watering foods during this season.

Every holiday we prepare delicious foods as a way of celebrating the event and can be a time for family or friends gathering so plenty of foods must be put on the table to satiate all people. Anyway, my favorite holiday foods are spaghetti especially the one made by my mother, Lechon, fried chicken, and adobo.
