Ferguson is now the UFC interim lightweight champion

Tony Ferguson defeated Kevin Lee to grab the UFC interim lightweight belt. Ferguson was taken down several times but he was hitting Lee with good shots to the head that caused a bloodied face. In the 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] round, Ferguson was taken down again but he countered with a shoulder lock for a tapout. Ferguson is now 23-3 while Lee suffered his 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] loss against 16 wins. Lee is very disappointed because he didn’t expect to lose while Ferguson said that everything went according to plans.

Interim lightweight huh. Right when I think that I am starting to get a hold of all the different weights and classes it seems like new ones keep popping up, or maybe I just keep forgetting the same ones over and over.
