I'm wanting to start a new workout routine. What do you guys think about full body workouts? 3 times a week Monday, Wed. and Friday, and on tuesday and thursdays cardio and abs..?

I was thinking, what do ya'll think about a full body workout one week and the next week a split workout? You know just change it up every week..??

^^ Changing it up every week? Sounds like a way to suck at lifting to me!

You have to be very experienced at lifting to get anything out of changing a routine regularly.

Anyone else has to stick at a lift/program to get the most out of it. And how do you measure any progress if you don't keep some level of consistency? Also don't discount how much skill is needed to lift weights. Without that skill level you don't get proper muscle motor patterns and recruitment.
