Glory 60 kickboxing welterweight title fight – Harut Grigorian vs Cedric Doumbe

Glory kickboxing welterweight champion Harut Grigorian will defend his belt against former champion Cedric Doumbe on March 9 in France’s Palais des Sports de Gerland. Grigorian won the crown from his previous tormentor Murthel Groenhart and has 3 wins since then. It’s like a merry-go-round because Doumbe had lost his belt to Groenhart. Grigorian has a fight record of 48-11 while Doumbe has 71-6-1.

It was an anti-climactic although it was expected that the welterweight championship would not last the 5 rounds. Doumbe released bombs that hit Grigorian early in the fight. At the start of the second round, it was already obvious that Grigorian was suffering from the bombs and another onslaught brought the champion to his knees. Cedric Goumbe was successful in wresting the Glory welterweight belt from Harut Grigorian
