Glory 66 – women’s Super Bantamweight title – Anissa Meksen vs Sofia Olofsson

The Glory kickboxing women’s super bantamweight title will be contested by champion Anissa Meksen and #1 contender Sofia Olofsson on June 22 at the Zenith Paris in Paris, France as the co-main event of Glory 66. Meksen from France has a fight record of 7-1 in Glory and an overall record of 98-4 while Olofsson of Sweden has a scorecard of 2-1 in Glory and 49-8 overall.

Sofia Olofsson seemed to have lost her composure upon receiving a strong high kick from Anissa Meksen. That kick dictated the tempo in favor the French fighter with a cut on Olofsson’s head that later was worsened by the attacks of Meksen. The fight was finally stopped in the 2nd round when the cut on Olofsson continued bleeding.
