Hey, i ordered some knee wraps and lifting straps yesterday
i was wondering also, with lifting gloves on, can you still use the lifting straps for deads and other exercises?
the ones im going to order are Schiek power series 425, they have a wrist wrap on it, but i dont know if the lifting straps would fit or not...
or somehow would have to modify them, or just not wrap the glvoes wraps..
i dont quite know if it'd help. i need new gloves since the Velcro on mine is tearing away..

You just need to put the straps on top of the glove velcro.

okay thanks, i hope it works heh
my forearms are long for my height but from shoulder to elbow is short
so its hard to do deads , plus my lower back.

What does length of your arms have to do with having trouble with deads? The only time I use protected padding is when I do streniuous lifts that jeapordize me getting blisters, such as deads or shrugs. I personally don't like straps or anything like that because I can't hide from weak forarms. I'll never build up the strength to do the weight unless I actually do it without straps. If you're having trouble because of you're back then that's fine, but don't gloves or straps because you can't deal with the hard part of the exercise. (Which I doubt you have trouble because your jacked as hell....) But again, if your having trouble with something, considering a body part, then it's fine. Good Luck and have fun with them!

The length of the arms affects the distance one must bend in order to achieve a full stretch in the back. Generally people that have shorter arms and legs tend to be able to lift more weight because they have a much more limited ROM. I have shorter legs which is generally why I can squat heavier than someone else my size with longer legs.

works great, just dont wrap the wrap thing too high, wrap it lower so the strap can sit where it should :2:

straps are good for going really heavy on deads and shrugs and dumbell rows...dont let ur forearms rob you from trashing your back....of u consider the size of your forearms train them apart....i think forearms are like calves....some people have them without training them and some need to train them!!

you can use them only if you're wearing a skirt.

That is just funny, not saying I agree, but very funny. I have nothing else to add to this conversation, it has all pretty much been said, just had to acknowledge that comment.
