Grand theft Auto.... allowed to call friends and go bowling... bowling... or watch a show..
1. You could not organize your own criminal organization, or be afilliated with it.
2. other than apartment you could not own property.
3. No mater what dieiscion you made you character didn't have a happy ending
It was like ok she died... now Niko crys... well fuck bad ending i'll try the other way... his cousin dies WTF!!

Ok maybe I can eventually own a nice manor or big estate.

second shitty apartment.
a decent studio apartment
oh .. another decent studio apartment.

Well shit alright at least clothes will be nice... well nice let me chnage the color of the top....wait wtf I can't.

Saints Row on the other hand was an awesome game I beat it about 10 times and still love it.

saints row essentially built on the customization that GTA built. But now the GTA series has dismissed that same customization that made it THAT much more fun. It was what made the gta series so good in the past, it gave you a sense of ownership over the city. You never get the feeling with gta4.

San andreas was an awesome game, i stopped playing it as i couldnt pass the Air-o-plane Mission just before breaking CJ's brother out of jail

Which is exactly why I am waiting for Mafia 2.

More real police simulation can't speed through the city and cops ignore you anymore like GTA or Saints Row.

Stolen Cars gotta be changed cause cops are looking for them.\

That level wasnt as hard as it was awesome.

I didnt think they would get you a fighter jet, I mean you play the game for hours on end and you think it cant get any better and then BAM, u get a fighter jet.

If they continue their trend towards gritty reality and painful gameplay then I very much doubt it. Games are all about whacky fucking fun, not doing obligatory missions that represent the dullness of life.

That's why we play fucking games, to escape a boring routine. To become a mobster and kill old woman by running over them in a fucking truck... not to take a fat fucking cousing to bawling. I don't even do that shit in real life. Saints Row 2 bitches !!!

Hell yea except the ending, you get to live the gritty reality of a mobsters dangerous life.

That my main choice for Organized crime games to run organized criminal enterprises the way you want to which is why saints row is great as well the Godfather and somewhat Mafia.. Mafia you only make it to Made Man before you become a rat.

I would have spoilered that but the game is fucking anicent.
