Great fighter: Joe Louis

Called the Brown Bomber for his color, world heavyweight champion Joe Louis was one of the great fighters of his time. He had 69 fights with 52 KO and only 3 losses for his record. He held the heavyweight belt for more than 10 years which is a record to behold even in this modern times. Joseph Louis Barrow, his real name, retired and later was deep in debt due to mismanaged finances. It’s really sad that a guy who earned so much would end up to be a pauper.

Well that sure takes me back, but unfortunately I am still a little young to really appreciate him in the time. That is kind of sad how boxing has gone a little away from everyone's attention and so too has the history a little bit.
