It is The Manchurian Candidate...I realized what an awful clue it was when I typed "2004 remake movie" into Google and it was the first hit

I didn't want to post a Sinatra picture too early because I thought it might give it away...

The Kill Bill reference I was referring to was actually the music played whenever The Bride comes across a member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. It was played here as Sinatra opens a door and sees an Asian man and then they fight.
