Guns 'n' Roses Finally Release Album

Well Dr Pepper is paying up as Guns 'n' Roses Chinese Democracy album is finally due for release on the 23rd Nov. This means that GnR have won the bet that the marketing guys at DrP put out that it wouldn't be released this year. So go to their website on the 23rd to get your free drink coupon.

I was a big GnR fan back in the late 80's early 90's. But since Axl went megalomaniacal about the band being his they have battled to record anything. It has taken 17yrs to record Chinese Democracy and it doesn't sound like an opus to me.

Apparently 11 of the 14 tracks have been publicly played or released now over the past 2 years (which is standard practice for GnR). Makes you wonder what the hold up was with the final 3.......

But Appetite for Destruction is one of the greatest albums of all time. Those really great albums just don't age.

I must say you seem to have a nice taste for music, tim. I liked GnR a lot and still listen to Appetite every now and again. On the other hand i agree axl is a dick and i don't expect anything good just as skeptic said.

Guns & Roses is still one of my all time favorite bands.

its just axel rose and some unkown guys.

How is this considered guns and roses to say velvet revolver which features more past members and a different vocalist?

I dont consider it a new GnR album til atleast slash, duff, or izzy come back
