Hafthor Bjornsson going for the 501kg deadlift at the 2020 WUS Bahrein!

Thor just announced on his instagram page that he will go for the world record in the deadlift and will attempt 501kg at the WUS Bahrein show on April 11th, 2020.

How badass would it be to lift 501kg on the elephant bar at the Arnold then weeks after, get the word record for the deadlift bar with calibrated plates etc as well.
Eddie Hall won't be happy that's for sure.

Damn, the WUS Dubai have closed their instagram page, and they will postpone the show due to the corona virus high risk factors.

I sincerely doubt Hafthor going for the record. Eddie is the strongest "Strong Man" in the world. Hafthor has no chance of beating this record. Am impressed by Eddie Hall's feat of strength, he is the absolute beast. No one else can come close to breaking his record.
