so i used to be training daily and was a tank before i turned 17 i could bench 305 1 rep max squat about 400 1 rep max and dead lift about 500 1 rep max and i used to play football but after the first game of the season i reinjured my PCL for the 3rd time so i took alot of time off of everything physical to get it better it is now feeling so much better if any one has ever torn a ligament in there knee/knees they will know what im talking about but now its been i unno 3 or 4 months sense i havent worked out like a full work out ive been just trying to get my muscles back into the game again and trying to get motivated i hope this makes sense to ppl so if any one can help me out a bit with this plz do i love working out and i dont want to stop cause i cant get motivated or my muscles back into it i mean it should be easy but im still having a hard time lol thanks guys :coolguy:

watch bodybuilding videos.
put pictures up around your bedroom/house, motivating phrases etc.
listen to music that pumps you up.
Stop whinging like a bitch, get into the gym.

Either you want it or you don't. Push yourself just one day and after the gym, if you feel like you still love you will keep going. If not then maybe its not for you.

Start rock bottom and work back up.

Don't compare what you used to do to what you can do now.

If you did it once - you can do it again - just don't expect it to be overmight. Work for it and enjoy it for what it is and the strength will return.

You have to start somewere m8 so try a 3 daysa week workout protocol and try to find your motivation back. Sometimes its hard to go but if your at the gym everything works out well. So try to find a structure which suits you

cant say much about bad knees

but come on, who wouldnt wanna be a bodybuilder? only a weakling.
the benefits of bodybuilding are endless. i dont need to spell them all out.

Skeptic has hit a familiar note with me though. quotes and music tend to do more for me than anything else, with quotes being the most powerfull driving force for me.

thank god you have muscle memory on your side.

Once u start seeing improvements again u will be motivated even more to be in the gym!! just start low and build up again!
