On Feb 14th,
IFBB Pro Bodybuilder Hidetada Yamagishi has suddenly announced that he was invited to compete at the 2009 Arnold Classic, but he has discussed this with his Trainer Charles Glass and both came to an agreement and decided to decline the offer of the ASC Invitation, To focus on the Orlando & New york 2009 Pro shows.

Yamagishi was arrested of possession of steroids at the LosAngeles international Airport on December 2007 and his invitation for the 2008 Arnold Classic was officially Canceled.

that's pretty harsh. IMO he made a wise business decision to compete in shows he has a better chance of doing well in. the ASC is stacked this year and he would have to pull off a miracle to place in the top 6 with even the top 10 being no small feat. i don't mind the decision at all to focus on shows in which he has a greater chance of placing sucessfully.

Right decision.With top pros like Martinez, Freeman, Greene, Warren etc. he wouldn't have probably made into the top 10.
