How does co-op work for gears of war 2 (360) ?

I need my bros help beating a level but i cant figure out how to do offline co-op, it says on the back co-op 2, and online (live 4+) but its just me and my bro... i tried to google for info, but cant find the correct info.

i think you have to start a TWO Player co-op game in order to do it,
you cant start a single player game and try to co-op?

Tried too, i clicked co-op, but set cannot connect to other controllers or some shit

the only thing i can tell you is the same thing D did. you cant start a single player and then switch to co op but you should be able to just start a 2 player co op.

I've done co op with my cousin before, so I'm trying to remember...

Choose co op campaign, then split screen campaign.

Have you tried connecting both controllers before you start? (with one of you as guest or whatever?)


Edit: Here's a video of the menu. He shows what to press for offline, split screen co op. If you have controller issues, try what I said. If that doesn't work, your controller may be messed up. So try that, and if you have controller issues, try doing 2 players in a different game to make sure your controllers are fine.

you also need two gamer profiles.... that's what stumped me for a moment.... hope that helps
