I used to race the bike +14 hours EW, but now i think i have 2½ HIT EW and 2 sessions of 30min to one hour each. Also i am walking in the evening and sometimes morning.
none if i feel my bf is getting high i will start doing high rep sets(30 reps at least) and drop my rest periods to 30 seconds. I usually get goo growth out of this aswell so its a win win situation most of the time. But for the most part i keep the food the same. if i feel heavy or look heavy i will cut carbs my last meal or so.
As far is the heart is concerned i really should get up in the morning and do some cardio before breakfast and my shower and stop being lazy, no excuse for that.
Right now 6 days a week, I alternate between HIIT and low intensity. My bodyfat was way to high, and I've cut to a reasonable bodyfat now, but I want to cut a little bit more weight, but it's coming off very slowly. I gain weight very fast, but lose it very slow.
