i was always told that you need 1.5-2 grams of protein per pound of body weight to gain and maintain muscle mass.....but recently iv heard from many doctors and health specialists that an athlete or someone who worksout/weight trains only need 0.8-0.9 grams of protein per KILOGRAM of body weight.... any feedback here on this??
