My legs grow from squats better than anything else. I know, science might disagree, but for many this is the case!
But to REALLY target the quads, you need some form of resisted extensions. For many, including me, regular use of leg extensions can cause knee issues. We are after extension, and we can accomplish this by doing the reverse sled drag while also utilizing the core and your entire body.
What I did today…
Each squat set was superset with ~20 yards of reverse sled drag:
135 x 8
185 x 8
225 x 6
275 x 5
315 x 3 for 3 sets
275 x 3
225 x 3
185 x 3
135 x 3
