Hurricane Ida affected the US Open tennis 2021

Some matches were suspended due to the heavy rains brought about by Hurricane Ida that ravaged New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Many areas were inundated by flood that vehicles were destroyed. That is aside from the landslides in some parts of Pennsylvania. After the landfall of Ida the place looked ravaged that more than half a million homes have no power.

The lashing of Hurricane Ida in New Jersey left 25 dead while there were 9 dead in Louisiana. There were 16 dead in New York and the 13 who perished are in New York City. The devastation is great that it is considered phenomenal in terms of the flooding that destroyed properties that can be worth millions.
