This is the 2nd defense of Beterbiev who is undefeated with all his 13 wins by KO. The challenger has a respectable fight record of 24 wins and only 1 loss with 17 KOs. The challenger’s only loss was against a split decision win by Callum Johnson.

The Russian champion preserved not only his unbeaten record but his perfect score of KOs to stop challenger Kaladjzic to retain his IBF light heavyweight title. The challenger had no choice but to accept the stoppage when he couldn’t contain the attack of the champion. Beterbiev earned a knock down in the 3rd and the follow up in the 5th round caused the end of the fight.
