Carabajal won the IBF featherweight crown by beating previously undefeated Elena Gradiner. The Argentian Carabajal did not clearly dominate the fight but it was clear that she won on points with scores of 97-93, 97-93 and 96-94 from the judges. The champion has improved her fight record to 16-4-1 with 9 KOs.
