IFBB Notice Regarding the Arnold Classic

Just saw this from the ifbb regarding the 2018 Arnold Classic Ohio and the 2018 Arnold Classic Australia! What does this even mean?

The Bodybuilding events to be held in Columbus (next March 1-4, 2018) and Australia (next March 16-18, 2018) are NOT IFBB sanctioned events.


Both events are organized by an IFBB suspended organization, due to breach of International Sport Regulations and serious violations of the World Anti-Doping Code.


The participation in any of these non-sanctioned events will carry a re-installment process, accordingly to article 19.4.7 of the IFBB Constitution, without prejudice of additional disciplinary measures that may be adopted by National Federations.

This notice is from Santola's IFBB. Is obvious that they are just fighting against the "Other" IFBB, the Jim Manion's one. Just bullshit man. The biggest Arnold Classic is the Ohio and second is the Australia. Those 2 are affiliated with Jim Manion's IFBB/NPC. So there is the reason for the notice, they just want to produce a mess n' buzz!!!

This is due to the Arnold Classic split between the two factions. Manion has the USA and Australia shows and Santoja has Africa, South America & Europe. There is no Asia AC this year.
