in a 12 week precontest diet, how much fat CAN you lose?

ive known friends to lose 20-30 lbs in precontest but what is the limit?
i know everyone is different jus want to see whats the most someone has goten out of a 12 week precontest diet!

I wouldnt recommend trying to lose anymore than 2 lbs a week when setting up a pre-contest diet. Anymore and you are likely to lose muscle mass as well. That being said, I dropped 20 lbs in ten weeks in my last prep and then an additional 4 in water!
