Bodybuilding is a sport that requires dedication, hard work, and consistency. While it is safe to say that this sport is much easier for men because of their naturally strong physiques, women like Jennifer Hernandez have taken it upon themselves to change the narrative.

If you're familiar with the old, witty saying, "a girl in a gym is much more attractive than a girl in a bar," you'll understand why women make frequent visits to the gym. But some women have decided to take it up a notch by participating in bodybuilding competitions.

Since late 1970, when the female component of competitive bodybuilding was introduced, women have been seen taking part in female bodybuilding competitions. This development seemed to gain more ground as more women continued to participate in the competition even till now.

Even though women are also participating in bodybuilding, it's quite difficult to find a woman to build up to an average male bodybuilder, especially in size.

That being said, this article is about to shed more light on the life of an accomplished female bodybuilder, Jennifer Hernandez, her personal life, career, and her death. Her death indeed was a huge loss to the female bodybuilding and the entire bodybuilding community at large. To discover more about Jennifer Hernandez, keep reading.

Wow. can't believe how many bodybuilders are dying females too now. I really didn't know who Jennifer Hernandez was before I read this article.
what she look like should have epitomized what women's bodybuilding should have always been she was beautiful she look like a woman I have nothing against women being muscular and I actually train a lot of women for both bikini figure physique bodybuilding whatever and I like muscle on women not too much but I cannot stand when it starts becoming a masculine look and that's what these judges of these bodybuilding contests forced on them.

one of my best friends in the world and my training partner for 5 years was an ifbb pro named Denise Gerard. I hadn't spoken to her in 5 years because I had relocated she lived in Hampton New Virginia and I had relocated to Boston Massachusetts. one day I was just thinking about her and it's been so long I wanted to reach out to her and see how she was doing so I sent an email to her email account which has always been the same for as long as I've known her and it bounced back. right away I got concerned so I did a Google search on her and the first thing I saw was rest in peace pioneering body building East Girard dead at 53 or whatever she was. I believe it was March 20 something of 2013 and every year around that time I can't help but think about her cuz we were so close at one time at one point in our lives we really were best friends and there was nothing going on between us. she was my training partner and she was my best friend she went to every contest I did and I went to every contest she did I was there when she turned pro in Dallas I know it wasn't Dallas it was the year after Dallas at the Nationals but I was there at Dallas when she came in second and then I was there to year later when she won the class and turnpro. I was so happy for her because that's all she wanted she wanted to be an ifbb pro more than anything in the world she knew she would never be a great pro she was a lightweight so she was on the small side but back then just becoming nifb pro was a super accomplishment it no longer is. back then the only way to turn pro was to win your class at the Nationals, when the OVERALL AT THE USA, win the OVERALL at the Both American or OVERALL AT team universe and that was it. It was extremely difficult to do
Now they torn pro first and second of every class in the USA first and second of every class in the Nationals first and second every class in North American I even heard that they turn people pro in the junior Nationals what the purpose of that is I have no idea but they took any prestige away from having an ifbb pro card they just ruined it they took it all the way it means nothing now nothing at all because it's so easy to get compared to how it used to be. and I don't see the sense in it because they're turning people pro that are never going to be good pros that are going to get decimated in the professional ranks.

anyway I mentioned that because I already have gone through a loss of a very close friend who happened to be a professional female bodybuilder and now hearing about this young young lady who was absolutely gorgeous and should have been the face of bodybuilding or somebody like her should have been the face of bodybuilding and she ends up dead it's sad. I have no idea what caused it and actually to this day I'm not positive what caused Denise to die although I'm pretty sure she had bipolar disorder and I'm pretty sure it had something to do with a suicide which I blame myself for all the time because I went 5 years without talking to her I sometimes think if I would have kept in touch with her maybe I could have she was always more straight with me than anybody and she was married she would tell me things that she wouldn't tell anybody else so I feel like if I would have been there just for her to talk maybe that wouldn't have happened

really I just hope this rash a bodybuilders dying stop soon very soon
